YALSA needs 6 Young Adults to volunteer for ALA panel in San Diego

Youth Volunteer Opportunity

The Young Adult Library Services (YALSA) division of the American Library Association is seeking 6 young adult participants for a panel discussion at the ALA Annual Conference

The panelists will provide perspectives on the freedom to read, including book banning, censorship, and teens building coalitions in the face of challenges. Panelists must be comfortable speaking to a larger group. 

The Q&A will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 10:30am at the San Diego Convention Center or a nearby hotel conference center.
