In Wake of California Fires, CSLA Offers Support

In the wake of the recent devastating fires in Los Angeles and across California, the California School Library Association extends heartfelt love, commitment, and unwavering support to all librarians and support staff throughout the state. As our communities work to recover, we recognize the critical role school librarians play in providing stability, comfort, and knowledge during times of crisis.

School librarians are often the heart of their communities, offering not only resources for learning but also spaces for emotional healing and connection. In the face of adversity, their dedication to students, educators, and families remains unshaken. We stand with school librarians as they continue to inspire and support our young learners, helping them navigate these difficult times.

The fires have impacted not just homes and businesses but also schools, libraries, and the thousands of students who rely on them.
