Ernesto Cisneros (https://amzn.to/4b7VQzd) is the nationally acclaimed author of EFRÉN DIVIDED. He was born and raised in Santa Ana, California, where he still teaches.  As an author, he believes in providing today’s youth with an honest depiction of characters with whom they can identify. Additionally, he strives to build empathy and belonging in our community.

Ernesto’s books reinforce and affirm equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging by showcasing diverse characters and authentic cultural narratives that reflect the richness of the Latino community. His stories address social issues, promote cultural pride, and challenge stereotypes, fostering understanding and empathy among readers. Furthermore, they educate readers on the history and contributions of Latinos, empowering them to advocate for equity and justice.
